Bykowski Tailor & Garb is a local, combat veteran, family owned and operated design house and lifestyle brand. The independent label designs head to toe bespoke and ready to wear menswear including hats, suiting and casual wear, accessories, leather goods, and boots. Their rustic style with an edge resonates with the creative industries while classic/modern suiting is their sustenance. They suit local and world renowned musical icons, to lawyers, to grooms. You may have seen their garb on some of your favorite artists, HBO and AMC tv shows, and a blockbuster film or the love of your life. Founded by Christopher & Wendy Bykowski in 2009 while planning their nuptials when menswear options were lacking in regards design, cloth, and fit that Christopher desired. A musician foremost at the time, he would put a significant amount of tailoring into his thrift store finds to get his desired Edwardian/Prohibition inspired style with exceptional fit for both stage and life. Wendy's passion for the era, fashion, and merch (band cd's/shirts/pins/stickers) maven for the band lead her to start Sweet Debauchery years prior, a line of fascinators and brooches and their first joint stint, an indie music record label of the same name.Between the void in menswear, their evolving love for the era while keeping it current, and already on the path to creative entrepreneurship revolving around their lifestyle, the pop-up Dandy's The Gentleman's Store came to be. The modern haberdashery of their dreams, Bykowski Tailor & Garb became reality in 2011 when they opened their brick & mortar in the heart of downtown Austin, TX.
